KIRKISTOWN IS OPEN FROM EASTER SATURDAY

***IMPORTANT NEWS FOR EASTER MONDAY COMPETITORS***

Over the last couple of years due to overnight stay no longer being available at Bishopscourt, the Club have been discussing the possibility of opening Kirkistown from Saturday night for our Easter Monday Competitors.
We understand the difficulity faced by Overseas, Irish and those competitors & Teams who have a substantial distance to travel over the Easter weekend.
This Easter for the first time and as a trial run, we have negotiated with the Circuit owners; 500 Club, the MCUI (UC) and our Insurers to enable us to open Kirkistown from Easter Saturday evening.
This is a bold initiative by the Club and a great effort by our Secretary John McClure.
There will be NO entry charge to competitors coming on Saturday night but we’ve decided to ask everyone to make a donation to the Injured Riders Welfare Fund. On entering the Circuit you will hand your passes in as normal to gate staff where buckets will be provided to make your donations..PLEASE GIVE GENEROUSLY

Anyone without a pass will be required to pay the gate fee as normal.

Electric power will be available from Saturday night in the normal way and may incur an additional charge as set by the 500 Club.
If you’re booking a garage then please inform the 500 Club whether it’s for 1 or 2 nights, this again may incur an additional charge.

The provisional opening times at present are:-

Saturday 19th April Open: 8pm       Closed: 01.30am Sunday morn
Sunday 20th April Open: 10am       Closed: 12.00 midnight
Monday 21st April Open: 6am         Closed: 8pm

These are provisional opening times which have yet to be confirmed with the Circuit owners.

The Club Bar will be open on Saturday & Sunday night with entertainment provided.

The Restaurant will be open for breakfast on Sunday morning and will also be offering a small A La Carte menu on Sunday night.

As stated this is a trial run this year and hopefully if everyone behaves and everything goes well then maybe we can look at creating something for the future.

Thanks
